Stupid groundhog.
I am ready for spring. Yes, I realize I still have the grouchies, but this has been a long winter, right? I want to buy hanging pots and put out my ceramic toad (it’s a regional thing).
So, I declare it SPRING. (Remember that episode of The Office where Michael Scott walks into the room and yells, “I DECLARE BANKRUPTCY!“) My yard may still be a dead and brown mud pit, my jacket may still be in regular rotation, but on my blog it will be warm and bright. Have some flowers. These were all taken at Keukenhof gardens, near Amsterdam, in April of 2007–pre-Nikon, mostly by me, but one may have been taken by the hubs.

Sigh. Maybe we need to take up a collection to get me back to Holland.
p.s. Grouchies are getting better–gonna step down again tonight. The finish line is in sight!

We’re rootin’ for ya.
Good for you! Also, thanks for these beautiful pictures. We still have a LOT of snow on the ground (though in some places it is finally starting to melt). I was thinking the same thing this past weekend…want to do things outside, but it’s still cold and there’s still snow on the ground. Please hurry Spring!!!
I’m not ready for spring yet. I LOVE my four distinct seasons…and like to keep the cooler ones for as long as possible. All spring brings is sweat, allergies and pesky bugs we got rid of in the fall.
But the photos are proof that you are a photographer. Photographers can take almost any camera and pump out gorgeous photos…like you did with your pre-Nikon camera.
Beautiful…gonna paste these onto my computer. Nicer than my stock background pics. Felt a little blue tonight, let down from 3 of my 4 kids going home and the house being so quiet, I guess. Missed YOU yesterday!!!!!!
