The New Compound

We spent the weekend at the new Elder-but-not-old Huckablog’s compound. I admit it. I was sad to see the old one go….but the new compound? Even better.
You see, it has a pond.
With fish in it. (sort of)
And it has fields big enough to fly a kite in.
And skies big enough to see the curve of the earth.
And I love it.
And so ends fall, and NaBloPoMo. I made it.
On to Christmas.

Sigh…………I do love our new home but I do sometimes miss the hammock trees of Not-so-plain-of-a-view.
