Baby fever is affecting my brain.

November 12th, 2009

I was looking for pictures for another post and I got distracted.

Look at his little old man hair.  Now I have to comb a thick mess every morning.  Well.  I should comb it.

This is a little BABY.   This baby told me today  “Mama, I feel frustrated that the Sneetchs are so mean.”   I had to spell check frustrated.  My kid says words I can’t spell.

Look at that chub!  The wrists are killing me.  That is nothing but breast milk chub.

This is not looking good people.  The fever has hit, and I am afraid I may be a casualty.

Now what?

But, he did giggle when I commented aloud, “She’s wanting a baby.” and then he said, “I just read that too.” Your choice to have or not to have will be respected by us, but you can’t hold it against us if we love being grandparents, right?

Uh oh… our Bug was conceived right after Bear’s 3rd birthday, and I have to say I LOVE the age difference. Enough of one where she was somewhat self-sufficient when he was born, but not so much that they’re not constantly fighting-slash-hugging each other too tightly. I wish you the BEST of luck with this one.

Also? We’re D-O-N-E and I *still* have baby fever from time to time. I don’t think it ever goes away completely. :-)

I know that I’ve been trying to convince you to have another one, but if you decide not to, i totally respect your decision.

But think of this: how adorable would a little Huckagirl be? Look at The Son. Imagine a female version, just as adorable and loving. Still throwing awesome birthday parties but this time with dresses and makeup.

    Frills and lace!

Join the club ‘mothers of princesses’ club if you wish, we’re always recruiting ;)

but you know.. another boy would be fine too…

Forget it…I just looked it up (and am now embarrassed that I didn’t know about an iconic Dr. Seuss character set).

Boy, it’s really interesting how this particular post generated at least 5 times the response the last few have! Hot topic……….apparently.
