THREE?!? I have a THREE YEAR OLD?!?
But, I LIKED two! There was nothing terrible about it. And…and, I am not ready to have a three year old–three is not a baby, and I was digging my baby still.
Well, onward and upward right? I can do three. I think. I can handle a boy and not a baby.
I lied. I am scared of boys who laugh at toilet humor and smell funny. I have no idea how to teach someone to ride a bike. Or multiplication tables? Will I have to teach those? I still only know my 2,5,9,10, and 11’s. What about sports? Will I need to know about sports? I am hyperventilating over here.
Someone hand me a paper bag and my Lexapro.
I am just going to relive two for a while longer. You should do the same.

I word about the music choice in this slide show: It is Two of us, a Beatles cover done by Aimee Mann, and Michael Penn. This year The Son and I have spent so much time just the two of us, and while The Hubs has still been an integral part of our family–we definitely had mother son bonding this year–with someone else footing the bill per the song choice.
You know the fix for not having a baby anymore is to actually have another baby. I’m just saying…
That sure went by fast.
Now would be a good time to get him a sister, don’t you think?
I didn’t realize how hard it was going to be to watch a baby grow. I just packed up Allie’s newborn clothes and cried so I can only imagine how you feel right now.
I don’t know much about sports or multiplication, but I do know that you two are some of the coolest parents ever so you’re going to be just fine.
Ahhhh…..three……….what a wonderful age to be. Now the fun REALLY starts!!
