Attitude.

March 25th, 2009

Standing in the way of mothers of two year olds and their photo-ops for millinea. Um, well since cameras were invented.  I guess before that mothers could draw or chisel into a rock whatever facial expression they wanted.   Actually, attitude has been standing in the way of everything for mothers of two years olds….eating out, a clean house, a peaceful worship experience, alone time with spouses, you name it.   But today’s post is just about photo-ops.

JHJ and I were passing the camera back and forth, but I think that he took almost all of these.  Between the two of us we took over 700 pictures in this one afternoon, so stay tuned, there are a lot more to come.

He doesn’t look so happy in these, though I like the “I’m really trying hard not to smile” face in the 7th picture from the top.

But, they’re all precious…he has such personality!

I hope you got more good ones than I did. When we took H, I took over 450 pictures and ended up with about a dozen that were good. About 400 were of the back of his head or of blowing spit bubbles or up in the cedar tree or blurry because he was jumping like a frog or pouting because he constantly stayed in trouble for picking the flowers :) Oh, the joys of a 2 1/2 year old!!

I love these. especially the first one and the ones where he’s figuring out how to cross his arms. I wonder from whom he is learning to cross his arms when he’s not happy?

Its amazing how fast he can run without tumbling in those big ole’ boots. I’ll be glad when he gets over them and wants to wear something else again. Of course these last few days they are the most appropriate choice anyway.
