In the breeze it looks like snow flurries.

Does anyone else have Bradford pears in their yard?  It is that time of year here.  I love the way they look, so delicate, and clean and crisp.

Have I mentioned my love for my new camera yet?  Do you have any idea how small these blossoms are?  And I took these without a macro lens!

I would love to cut some branches and put them on my dining table, but they have a problem.

They stink.  Not just stink, but they STINK!  Imagine a tuna rotting in two week old garbage and you will just about have it.

These trees are weak too.  They break all the time, and must be trimmed often, very high maintenance.  Despite their name, they do not bear any fruit.  I know people like that.  Lovely on the outside,  but when you get to know them–weak, exhausting, and useless.  Some of those people may even stink, but my metaphor gets a little sketchy there.

Sure are pretty look at though.  Enjoy the blossoms now, they will be gone in a few weeks, replaced by shiny green leaves. I wish the people were that easy to get rid of.

    WOW on the pics.

Concerning the comments, wonder how many paranoids these comments will cause to think you are talking about them?
