Ground Control to Hey You

We’re really missing you and The Son here.  Katy is eating a stuffed snowman and Ellie is collecting things and placing them in your favorite chair.

We want you to come home soon, but only when the ice has cleared and it’s once again safe to traverse the country.

Until then, stay safe, stay warm…………and climb the hill to call us as often as you can without freezing.

I love you both very much.

    Yeah, we were pretty much iced in too! We only went without power for about ten hours, so we were pretty lucky. Most of my coworkers are still without power, and some folks aren’t going to have power again for 3-6 weeks. I’m going to pick up my grandparents today because they’re still without power, so expect a ShoeShe post all about that in the near future. I’m glad to hear that everyone is safe, though.

    HeyYou…I promise…the only resemblance between TheHusband and this video is his loneliness…there are NO muses floating around his house other than Ellie and Katie (don’t think they count).

    Other note about video…very depressing song “back in the day” I never saw the video before now, maybe its hokiness would have prevented the lonely feeling I got whenever I heard it. Guess you’re feeling depressed without your two muses, HeyYou and TheSon, aren’t you TheHusband?

    We miss them too! Now you know how WE (FFIL and I) felt when you 3 went to Europe for 2 weeks!!
