Grammy, maybe the reason that he looked so young in the goldfish pics would be due to the cute little footed pajamas he was wearing, whereas above he is wearing a jersey, jean shorts, and Converse sneakers.

We left at halftime. It was REALLY...REALLY...REALLY COLD!!! I mean cuddle-up-wear-a-coat-hat-gloves-scarf-loads-of-blankets-thermals-two-pairs-of-socks and still cold, cold. So we left.

Besides, Hey You didn't so much know what was going on at all. She'd say, "Aww!" when the other team lost the ball (everyone else was cheering), and had no idea why everyone was booing (The Husband worried about teaching The Son bad sportsmanship).

Actually, it was kinda funny to watch Hey You watch football.

I admire them for taking The Son to a football game, even though they aren't really fans of football. It's like they're encouraging him to be his own little man. Most parents don't so much do that anymore. Most parents try to live vicariously through their children nowadays. But if that were the case, the poor little kid would already be training for MUN debates and caucuses...or computer programming tournaments (who knew they even had those?).

Congrats to some of the best parents I've ever met on raising a well-rounded and precious little boy.

I doubt y'all were there to see the end of the game, but maybe y'all made it through. When I saw the half time score I was thinking there is no way they can leave! But then I thought you guys probably didn't care.

Well, at least the no-longer-politically-incorrectly-named-alma-maters WON that game! I imagine you got excited, even if you didn't know why everyone else was yelling until the guy ran into the end zone. Go, You-Know-Who's, "alot"-"alittle", whooohooo. (PS: It's my alma mater too, 3 times over.)

Odd these two photos taken in August make him look older than he does in those taken last week with the goldfish. Is it popcorn in the teeth causing that hilarious face in the above pic?

I do like the jersey. Hope he liked the ball game.
