Yep, he really IS this happy. (Or not...he's an all-on or all-off type of guy.) Anyway, the viewer should know that these shots were taken after the little fella had fallen lips-first onto the floor and bled all over his mom and himself. Then rode an hour to get to the photographer studio...and was quite hungry AND hot by the time the 2-hour (or so) shoot was over.

He NEVER fussed...not even during the 30-minute ride to the closest small city for supper. (Okay, he DID fuss once...that was when Mom was going to put him in her car after the photo op for the ride to supper and he wanted to ride in Pappaw and Gigi's truck instead...yep, he got his way on that one.) What a delight this happy child is to all of us!

I know and LOVE every one of those faces! Though he lives in the city, he indeed has a little bit of the country in him. Last night he was playing with "Shoubels" at G&G's house. And mommy and daddy had to take him off his tractor (yes, another one) to go home.

Sometimes when you have a blog it is really hard to share all of the things you want to share while still protecting your family's anonymity. One of the times when that is really hard is when you have a service provided for you by a local person. (Kinda like Stacey and her Cakes!) These pictures were taken by a photographer near MMIL and FFIL, and we were very pleased with her, she was incredibly patient with The Son, and very reasonably priced. She even let me purchase a disk with his photos instead of prints, since we rarely look at albums, but look at the blog every day. This is the first of three posts featuring her photography. She has a website and blog that I would LOVE to link to.....but she has her address and location on it, and because of the increased traffic here on theHuckablog...it just makes The Husband and I nervous to link to her. Many of you know us IRL, or have come here through local friends, Those people: EMAIL ME at heyyou at thehuckablog dot com, I will be thrilled to pass along her info (and she is not that far from capital city). Michelle, thank you.

Okay, one word about this decidedly country fried post. I am a suburban girl who occasionally enjoys romps in the country. I do not listen to country music (but would choose it over hip hop) and I really could care less about tractors. But The Son....he loves tractors. And The Husband? He loved them when younger as well. In fact, the pictures of The Son on the little tractor were taken on TH's toy tractor from his childhood. The big tractor? belongs to the Agri teacher at MMIL's school district. So, I hope you enjoyed this green acres post, but ...
Huckablog HQ is where I'd rather stay.
I get allergic smelling hay.
I just adore a penthouse view.
Dah-ling I love you but give me HQ Avenue.
