Of the four, I could only vote for one (bummer). So, my vote was more in opposition of one particular costume than it was in support of a specific one. Much like my voting pattern for political candidates (unfortunately).

Anyway, I like in the following order: train conductor (just b/c TheSon is sooooo into trains right now), park ranger (b/c it would be so easy since he has the uniform AND since I have a friend who can get him a ranger hat), and finally cowboy (because he loves horses and the country life) and then, finally the caveman (my own personal bias against the Geico commercials, I think, are in play on this one).

It won't matter what you dress that little man up in, he will be absolutely adorable. So, go for whatever costume you like best. My camera's memory stick will be empty, ready and waiting!

So, wait...how many times did you want me to vote for the park ranger costume. Since that is the only one I've actually seen, my judgment may be slightly clouded, but it is rather cute. He would be precious in any though, so whatever you decide is fine.

As for the Huckaween Party, I'm always game. However, if it has become a burden and is no longer enjoyable for you...the hostess with the mostess...then by all means, don't feel obligated to host the party.

Quite frankly, I'd rather see a Huckmas party a couple of weeks before Christmas than the Huckaween bash.

And, tonight I will add my 5 faves to the list. I just really haven't had much of a chance to read.

I too voted for the costume I thought would be cutest. I also had a little bit of time between patients to peruse your archives, and came up with 5 that I liked a lot. They are in no particular order:

Bridesmania
Best in Show
Do you mean that you do not sit on the couch and drool all day?
All the best things
It is not the kitchen

Okay, my patient is now here. Gotta run.

Hey You...I voted.

When I have more time to go back through your archival genius, I will let you know what my top 5 are. It may take a couple of days for me to find enough private time to peruse.

Re Costume: All your costumes are great, I can't presume to make a suggestion.

Re Best Posts: This was really hard. I went through and narrowed it to 16, not 5. I then eliminated using the strategy of one each of: humorous, A day in the life of a SAHM, serious, marriage, and product recommendations. These are my picks:

Proper Alignment of Your Whine
Best In Show
All the Best Things
Dear Husband: Wooden Anniversary
Friday's Read It or Rant: Incomplete

Other contenders:
It's Not the Kitchen
LaLeche
Love With a Baby Wipe
The Library
Dear Son
Have You Ever Had Your Library Card Cut Up? Um, Me Either
No Regrets Tatoosday
Dear Husband: 3,680,640 Minutes Ago
A Matter of Faith
Just Who is Getting Trained Here
Lessons Learned
Parenting for Dummies

You are a good writer!
