He asked me about an hour after it was over who played the Joker and when I told him, he said he felt really down about that and wished he hadn't asked. BTW, he's not really a fuddy-duddy, he just doesn't read People or watch VH-1! Oh…and to the 3 American citizens who haven’t seen it yet…FFIL (my best half) did not know Heath was the Joker. We had just spent 2 lovely days and nights with our little grand(est)son and looked forward to a little grownup action/adventure movie time. A couple of times, I caught myself wondering just what type of assault Christian committed against his mother and sister to land him in jail...then the relentless action of the movie snapped me back to it. The day we saw the movie, I heard a reviewer on TV say, "The movie was very entertaining and fast-paced...the first four hours." We really enjoyed it, but staggered out of the movie theater at the end, punch-drunk from an action/adventure overdose! Still, I'll probably watch it again on Netflix.
